Second World, Bloodline of the Righteous, and Darkness Falls — Three Worlds I Built From Nothing

I never planned to be an author. I just had stories that wouldn’t shut up. These three are the ones that kept me awake the longest.

SECOND WORLD

SECOND WORLD started with a simple, ugly question: what happens when the world doesn’t end, but probably should have? I kept thinking about the people left standing after the disaster, after the headlines fade, when there’s no one coming to fix anything.

This story lives in the cracks between survival and surrender. It’s not clean. It’s not heroic in the way posters like to pretend. It’s about the ones who are too stubborn to give up and too damaged to go back to who they were.

I wrote SECOND WORLD because I wanted to see what happens when hope isn’t pretty or inspiring. When it’s just grit. Just teeth clenched in the dark, choosing to move anyway. These characters don’t save the world. They scrape out a reason to keep breathing in it.

BLOODLINE OF THE RIGHTEOUS

BLOODLINE OF THE RIGHTEOUS is what happens when faith, power, and family all get twisted together until you can’t tell one from the other. It’s set in a world that claims to know what “good” is and will spill as much blood as it takes to defend that idea.

This one cuts closer to the bone for me. It’s about inheritances you never asked for. The beliefs you’re born into. The expectations strapped to your back before you even know your own name. Some characters cling to that legacy. Some try to burn it down. None of them walk away clean.

I wrote BLOODLINE because I’ve seen how “righteousness” can be a mask. A shield. A weapon. I wanted to follow people who are trying to figure out if the story they were given about themselves is a destiny or a lie—and what they’re willing to destroy to find out.

DARKNESS FALLS

DARKNESS FALLS is the most honest title I’ve ever used. It’s about what happens when the dark isn’t a thing you fight outside, but something that moves in and lives with you. Around you. Inside you.

This world is cruel, but not in a theatrical way. It’s the small, grinding cruelties that keep adding up. The choices that look harmless until years later, when you realize you’ve been walking deeper into the shadows one step at a time.

I wrote DARKNESS FALLS to sit with that feeling. Not to fix it. Not to offer a neat lesson. Just to say: yes, it gets this heavy. Yes, people break. And sometimes, even after the break, there’s still a part of you that refuses to go silent. That’s the part I keep writing for.

If you read these stories, you’re stepping into the places I go when the lights are off and the world is too loud. I’m not here to convince you they’re for everyone. They’re not. But if any of this feels like something you’ve carried alone, then maybe you were part of the reason I couldn’t stop writing them.
