Magic systems that feel like video game tutorials. Heroes who talk like they’re in a corporate meeting.And it got very, very white — even when it pretends not to be.Here’s the problem:They want Black stories, but only if they’re trauma.They want myth, but only if it’s Greek or Norse.They want magic, but only if it has no religion.They want our rhythm, but not our gods.I got tired of hearing “this is great, but I don’t know how to market it.”So I built a gate where we don’t have to explain it.At Obsidian Gate Press, we publish Myth-Tech.Myth-Tech is what happens when you stop asking for permission to be mythic.It’s when Ifá has an operating system.When a trap house is sitting on a ley line.When your grandmother’s prayer is a binding spell.When the block is a kingdom and the kingdom has politics, power, and gods who still collect debts.Myth-Tech has rules:1. Im confused, while some of you claim to only read GOOD books, why is it that you seem to read garbage, or second grade material as if it was good?
